Sergio Lapedota: Dijalog klavira i simfonije
Pijanist i dirigent Sergio Lapedota izgradio je koncertnu karijeru koja ga je odvela na putovanja diljem Europe, Amerike, Turske i Rusije – Kazalište Alighieri u Raveni, Aspendos Salon u AKM kulturnom centru u Antalyi, dvorana G. Atanasov u Pazhardjiku, Kazalište Piccinni i Velika dvorana Konzervatorija N. Rota u Bariju, palača Šeremetev u Sankt Peterburgu, Auditorium S. Stefano al Ponte Vecchio u Firenci, Gornja bazilika u Assisiju, BMS Theatre, Black Box Theatre, Provincetown Playhouse i Saklad Auditorium u New Yorku, dvorana Alexander Girardi u Cortini d’Ampezzo, Villa Medici Giulini u Brioscu, Auditorium Petruzzi u Pescari… Impresivno, zar ne?
Diplomirao je na Konzervatoriju u Bariju i na Sveučilištu New York, a među njegovim mentorima bili su G. Pelliccia i D. Agiman za dirigiranje te L. Ceci i
J. Swann za klavir. Godine 2020. Riccardo Muti ga je odabrao među najbolje dirigente i repetitore te je sudjelovao na Italian Opera Academy u Raveni,
gdje je pod Mutijevim ravnanjem pripremao opere Cavalleria rusticana i I pagliacci.
Dobitnik je nagrada na brojnim nacionalnim i međunarodnim natjecanjima, neka od njih su: P. Argento, Arthur Nikisch International Conducting Competition, Città di Giovinazzo, Città di Pescara, Città delle Ceramiche… A nastuapo je i na značajnim klavirskim festivalima u Italiji poput maratona svih Skrjabinovih sonata, festivala svih Beethovenovih sonata i koncerata te festival Dino Ciani.
S brojnim orkestrima surađivao je kao gost-dirigent. Neki od njih su Pazhardjik Symphony Orchestra, Orkestar mladih L. Cherubini, I Musici di Parma, Cameristi del Maggio musicale fiorentino, Orchestra Toscana Classica, Youth Symphony Orchestra of Saint Petersburg, Orchestra filarmonica pugliese, Simfonijski orkestar Konzervatorija u Bariju, te s uglednim solistima poput sopranistica B. Kuru, A. Pintossi, F. Di Sauro, tenora A. Zade, baritona I. Onishchenka i S. Vasilea, violončelista G. Grassija, klarinetista J. Paredesa i pijanistice A. Partipilo.
Autor je eseja o filozofskim, estetskim i analitičkim aspektima klavirskog i simfonijskog repertoara, koje su objavili Oceano Edizioni (Bari), LIM (Milano)
i Levante Editori (Bari). Upravo za ove radove nagrađen je stipendijom Akademije umjetnosti i filozofskih znanosti u Bariju.
Godine 2024.
Pridružio se nastavničkom zboru Konzervatorija Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa u Potenzi (Italija), 2024. godine, a na kojem predaje čitanje partitura i dirigiranje. Također je imenovan glavnim dirigentom orkestra mladih i ansambla za suvremenu glazbu konzervatorija, s kojima je gostovao po Italiji u prvoj scenskoj izvedbi opere Note di gusto skladateljice Roberte Vacce.

SERGIO LAPEDOTA, pianist and conductor, has embraced a concert career which led him to perform on
European, American, Turkish, and Russian stages (Alighieri Theatre in Ravenna, Aspendos Salon at AKM

Auditorium great hall in Bari, Sheremetev Palace in St. Petersburg, S. Stefano al Ponte Vecchio Auditorium in
Florence, Upper Basilica in Assisi, BMS Theatre, Black Box Theatre, Provincetown Playhouse, and Saklad Auditorium in New York City, Alexander Girardi Hall in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Villa Medici Giulini in Briosco, “Petruzzi” Auditorium in Pescara).
In 2020 he was selected by Riccardo Muti among the best conductors and repetiteurs and took part to the Italian Opera Academy in Ravenna, where he served under mr. Muti’s baton to prepare Cavalleria rusticana and I pagliacci. He has also been awarded in several national and international competitions (P. Argento, Arthur Nikisch International Conducting Competition, Città di Giovinazzo, Città di Pescara, Città delle Ceramiche) and has therefore been selected for important piano festivals in Italy: Scriabin complete piano sonatas marathon, Beethoven complete Sonatas and Concerti festival, Dino Ciani festival.

Pintossi, F. Di Sauro, tenor A. Zada, baritones I. Onishchenko, S. Vasile, cellist G. Grassi, clarinetist J. Paredes, pianist A. Partipilo.
Lapedota’s essays on philosophic, aesthetic, and analytical aspects of piano and symphonic repertoirs, published by Oceano Edizioni (Bari), LIM (Milano), and Levante Editori (Bari), led the Accademia delle Arti e Scienze filosofiche in Bari to award him with a fellowship.
In 2024 he joined the Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa Conservatory faculty in Potenza (Italy) teaching Score reading and Conducting classes; furthermore, he has been appointed Principal conductor of the
Conservatory youth orchestra and new music ensemble, with which he has toured Italy with the first staged performance of the opera “Note di gusto” by composer Roberta Vacca. He holds degrees from Bari Conservatory and New York University, among his mentors there are G. Pelliccia and D. Agiman for concucting, L. Ceci and J. Swann for piano.
