Katja Markotić, mezzosopran – studij solo pjevanja završila je na Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst u Grazu u klasi prof. Ire Malaniuk a usavršavala se kod prof. F. X. Lukasowskog u Beču za interpretaciju Lieda i oratorijske glazbe.
Kao koncertna pjevačica jednako uspješno stilski interpretira djela od barokne do suvremene glazbe. Na repertoaru Katje Markotić nalaze se najistaknutiji predstavnici europske vokalne lirike (Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Mahler, Strauss, Čajkovski, Rahmanjinov, Respighi i dr.), a posebno mjesto posvetila je skladbama hrvatskih autora.
Sudjelovala je na svim značajnim domaćim festivalima a kao vokalna solistica nastupala je uz mnoge komorne ansamble i orkestre : Zagrebački solisti, Zagrebački kvartet, ansambl “I Solisti di Milano”, „Quartetto d’archi di Venezia“, Hrvatski komorni orkestar, Korejski komorni orkestar (Soeul), komorni orkestar „Roma Classica“, Simfonijski orkestar HRT, Ljubljanske simfoničare, Dubrovački simfonijski orkestar i orkestar HNK Splita u izvedbi 2. Mahlerove simfonije pod ravnanjem N. Bareze.
Katja Markotić često je prisutna na inozemnim podijima, (Austrija, Njemačka, Slovenija, Mađarska, Poljska, Italija, Francuska, Španjolska, Belgija i Velika Britanija). Zapažen uspjeh postigla je cjelovečernjim recitalima na međunarodnom festivalu “Cervantino” XIX u Mexicu sa završnim nastupom u Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City).
Katja Markotić was born in Zagreb, Croatia where she began her music studies as vocalist in the class of tenor N. Žunec. She graduated in Graz at ˝Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst˝, specializing in Lied and oratorio, in the class of renowned mezzo-soprano Prof. Ira Malaniuk. She also studied with Prof. F.X. Lukasowsky in Vienna. As a concert singer, she has been equally successful in performing works from various periods, from Baroque to Contemporary music. Besides Croatian authors, K. Markotić’s repertoire includes works by the most significant representatives of the European vocal tradition (Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Mahler, Liszt, Strauss, Rachmaninov). She often performs arias for mezzosoprano (alto) in Bach’s and Händel’s oratorios as well.
As a concert soloist she performed with eminent orchestras and chamber ensembles such as The Zagreb Soloists, The Zagreb String Quartet, The String Quartet of Milan, The String Quartet of Venice, The Cremona Soloists, The Croatian Chamber Orchestra, The Korean Chamber Orchestra (Seoul), The German Chamber Orchestra Frankfurt, The Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, The Ljubljana Symphonic Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and Zagreb Symphony Orchestra HRT.
She has made her appearance at all major music festivals in the country, as well in Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, Poland and Great Britain.
She achieved special success with her solo recitals at international festival „Cervantino˝ XXX in Mexico and in Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City).
Alejandro Córdova
Jedinstveni stil Alejandra Córdove bazira se na tehničkoj kontroli, darovitosti, ravnoteži, mirnoći, virtuoznosti, muzikalnosti i željom za znanjem te na senzibilitetu i iskustvu koje je stekao kao izvođač klasične glazbe na međunarodnoj sceni. Jedan je od najvažnijih mladih meksičkih predstavnika klasične gitare na državnom i međunarodnom nivou.
Rođen u Córdobi (Meksiko) 1986. godine, započinje studij gitare kao učenik profesora Jesusa Peñe te nastavlja studij gitare na fakultetu “Facultad de Musica de la Universidad Veracruzana”, pod vodstvom priznatih profesora poput Consuelo Bolio, Massima Gatte i Alfreda Sancheza.
Usavršava se u međuvremenu u Pordenoneu, na Akademiji za gitaru “Francisco Tarrega” pod vodstvom profesora Paola Pegorara. Magistrirao je na konzervatoriju “Jacopo Tomadini” u Udinama, pod vodstvom profesora Stefana Viole.
Od brojnih koncerata orkestra ističu se oni na “St. Petersburg Palace” festivalu, u kazalištu-muzeju “Hermitage” u Sankt Petersburgu, u Bijelom Salonu državnog muzeja u Petergofu i onaj u Novgorodskom kazalištu.
Njegov je talent prepoznat od strane brojnih glazbenih kritičara a održao je brojne solističke koncerte u Europi, Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama i Centralnoj Americi.
Realizirao je tri nosača zvuka, od kojih je prvi snimljen u Londonu s Johnom Taylorom, drugi u Sevilji s diskografskom kućom “Contrastes records” i treći u realizaciji diskografske kuće “Naxos”.
Dobitnik je brojnih prvih nagrada za na više od trideset međunarodnih takmičenja za gitaru.
Alejandro Córdova, possesses an own style, based on the technical control exceptional gifts, equilibrium, coolness, virtuosity, musicality, and a curiosity by the knowledge, sensibility and experience tested in international settings as performer of classical music.
Is one of the main youths Mexican exponents of the Classical Guitar to National and International Level.
He was born in Cordoba, Mexico, initiating his studies with Master Jesus Peña. He enters subsequently to the Faculty of Music of the University of Veracruz under the guardianship of the recognized teachers Consuelo Bolio, Massimo Gatta and Alfredo Sánchez. He carried out studies in the Academy of Guitar Improvement “Francisco Tárrega” with Master Paolo Pegoraro in Pordenone, Italy.
Graduate of the State Conservatory “Jacopo Tomadini” in Udine, Italy, where he studied the two-year Period of Specialization in Guitar with Master Stefano Viola.
Former member of the Orchestra of Guitars of the Office of the secretary of Education and Culture, formed by Master Alfonso Moreno, with which carried out National and International musical tours; emphasizing the “Festival of the Palaces of Saint Petersburg, Russia”. Theater of the Museum Hermitage of Saint Petersburg; in the White Parlor of the State Museum Peterhof of the Great Palace of Peterhof and in the Theater of the Fortress of Novgorod.
His talent has been recognized by the specialized critics and he has done concerts in Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia, Croatia, UK, USA, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
He counts with three records, the first one recorded in London with John Taylor, the second one recorded in Seville with Contrastes records, and the third one recorded with NAXOS.
Also he participates regularly in the most important Festivals and National and International Contests.
NOTICEABLE WINNER of more than thirty international competitions, such as:
First Prize in the “International Contest Julián Arcas” in Almería Spain, celebrated from the 24 to June 2009. He was declared the youngest guitarist in winning the First Prize.
