Cavtatska nedjelja u sjetnom sjećanju

Dan Luka Paljetka: Epidaurus Cavtat Festival odaje počast našem velikanu

Epidaurus Cavtat Festival s ponosom najavljuje poseban program u nedjelju, 15. rujna 2024., posvećen sjećanju na velikog akademika – Dan Luka Paljetka. Program započinje u 18 sati u đardinu Kuće Bukovac lutkarskom predstavom “Priča o Videku”, koju izvode Tanja Baletić i Hana Čerimagić Sarić.

Luko Paljetak’s Day This Sunday

Epidaurus Cavtat Festival proudly announces a special program on Sunday, September 15, 2024, dedicated to the memory of the great academician – Luko Paljetak’s Day. The program begins at 6:00 PM in the garden of the Bukovac House with the puppet show “The Story of Videk,” performed by Tanja Baletić and Hana Čerimagić Sarić. The text of the play was written by Boris A. Novak, and the Croatian translation was done by Luko Paljetak, a tireless explorer of the
enchanting world of puppet dramaturgy, who gave puppetry a special place in his rich academic and life’s work.

The music is composed by Paola Dražić Zekić, while the puppets were crafted by Carmela Grgurević. This performance, organized in collaboration with the Slovenian Cultural Association Lipa, offers an intimate experience of puppet artistry in the unique setting of Cavtat’s heritage. It is dedicated to the memory of our esteemed Luko Paljetak, as well as the late Vera Hrga, a beloved professor and member of the Slovenian Cultural Association Triglav in Split.

Following the puppet show, the program continues at 8:00 PM in the courtyard of the Rector’s Palace in Cavtat with an evening in remembrance of our great figure. Epidaurus Cavtat Festival and Matica Hrvatska – Dubrovnik Branch are preparing a gentle and reflective event, enriched by the musical performances of the Sorkočević Quartet, along with the extraordinary Krunoslav Težak and Goge Bonačić. The artistic and conceptual director of the programme is Ivana Marija
Vidović.

The impressive poster for this evening was created by Robert Rakarić (Apperia Design), a long- time collaborator of the Epidaurus Cavtat Festival, based on the work of academic painter Nikola Musladin and the idea of Ivana Marija Vidović.
