Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat - Biografija
Uz podršku same Kraljice Španjolske, djelo će uskoro biti izvedeno ponovo u Francuskoj i Japanu
Također je snimio za istu stanicu The Carnival of the Animals uz Anne Roumanoff, s tekstovima Erica-Emmanuela Schmitta (objavljeno od strane Albin Michela 2014. godine).
Zatim je studirao s Monique Deschaussées, učenicom Alfreda Cortota i Edwina Fischera. Dobitnik je dviju međunarodnih nagrada: Darius Milhaud 1997. i Spedidam 1999.

Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat - Biography
In September 2000, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat recorded his performance of Chopin’s 24 studies. His CD, published in the French magazine Piano le Magazine, propelled him on the international scene. Since then, his career has given him the opportunity of performing across Europe, Asia and Northern America.
This French pianist is highly appreciated by the public for his sensitivity and the emotions that his playing arouses. He has developed a wide range musical projects, from piano recitals to concertos with orchestra. He also does not hesitate to premiere musical dramas or lecture concerts.
Recognized by his peers as one of Beethoven’s specialists, he is regularly invited in France and abroad for concerts, radio or television broadcasts, or masterclasses highlighting the masterpieces of the Viennese composer. He played in concert the complete set of the famous 32 sonatas. Four CDs
featuring to the most well-known of them are already available.
His interpretations have been praised by music critics who emphasize the “French elegance” of his piano playing, with a very colorful palette of sounds, serving the French repertory of the 20th century (Debussy, Fauré, Ravel, Poulenc…).
He is a thought-after chamber musician, who has played alongside many international artists in duos or trios. He has a strong affinity with the repertoire of Brahms, and has interpreted almost the entirety of his complete chamber music work.
Since his first concert with orchestra at the age of thirteen, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat has been invited by numerous orchestras to play about twenty different concertos in France and abroad (Italy, Spain, Polonia, Greece, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia).
He is also an artist that contemporary composers appreciate, and two works are dedicated to him:
– Lignes d’Ombre, a piece for piano solo by Gérard Gastinel
– Mikado Concerto, for piano and orchestra by Spanish composer Juan-Francisco Tortosa-Esteve. He premiered the work in Spain in 2019 with the orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia. Supported by the Queen of Spain herself, the piece will soon be played again in France and Japan.
Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat is regularly invited to perform on various media. He has played live in the program L’été des festivals on the national radio station France Musique. He also has recorded for that same station The Carnival of the Animals side to Anne Roumanoff, with texts by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt (published by Albin Michel in 2014).
Many of his concerts have been covered by French television (France 2, France 3, TLM) as well as abroad (Russian, Catalan, Italian, Bulgarian, Polish, Macedonian, Kosovar…).
As soon as he obtained his prize at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in 1992, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat was unanimously admitted to the postgraduate course at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris in Jean-Claude Pennetier’s class. He then studied with Monique Deschaussées, a disciple of Alfred Cortot and Edwin Fischer. He is the recipient of two international prizes: Darius Milhaud 1997 and Spedidam 1999.
Artistic director of the Musicales en Tricastin festival, he is also artistic adviser for the classic concert season of the city of Ecully.
