Maclé – a French term deriving from gemology – can indicate crystals of the same species with different orientations, star-shaped twinned crystals and, in
old French, spots. The name symbolizes the multifaceted musicality and versatility of the two performers, highlighting their unique artistic sensibilities
and their fusion into a distinctive sound and interpretation.

The Maclé Duo, formed by pianists Sabrina Dente and Annamaria Garibaldi, studied and perfected their artistry under Marcella Crudeli. Their repertoire
spans from classical works to contemporary stylistic research. They have performed at major venues including the Youth Theater in Genoa, Teatro Miela in Trieste, Sala del Vasari in Naples, Salone Estense in Varese, Casa Donizetti and Sala Piatti in Bergamo, Teatro Alfieri in Turin, Teatro delle Erbe, Palazzina Liberty, Casa Verdi, Sormani Library, and Teatro Dal Verme in Milan; as well as Auditorium del Gonfalone, Teatro Marcello, Sala Baldini, Teatro Valle, and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Rome.

They appear regularly in various concert seasons and for European institutions, including Festival Musique à la source (Chaudfontaine, Belgium), Portenkirche Fürstenzell (Germany), Fundación Segovia Linares, Veladas Musicales Baeza, Festival Internacional de Música La Rambla (Spain), and Loucen (Czech Republic). They have also given concerts in Madrid, Bordeaux, Sofia, and New York, and collaborated with institutions such as Temp’óra International Meeting Bordeaux, Bergen Community College NJ, Hidalgo Conservatory of Malaga, Unione Lettere Italiani, Milano Classica, SIMC Italia, EPTA Italy, Rovere d’Oro, Novurgìa, Musica Aperta, BookCity Milan, Flying Notes Fazioli Malpensa, Niguarda Hospital, and Piano City Milan (notably in the production Piano Boat. A Train on the Water, with Quirino Principe, dedicated to Azio Corghi’s Un petit train du plaisir).

Maclé also participates in international projects for the promotion of new music, collaborating with composers and performers. Together with percussionist Elio Marchesini, they form the Trio Elié, offering an original exploration of sound and communication. Starting from a classical repertoire, the Trio experiments with multidimensional interpretations, embracing jazz, minimalism, and progressive rock.
